A site about us, the Groberg family. For the most part, every day for us is just another day in paradise.

A word is dead when it is said, some say. I say it just begins to live that day.

Mockingjay
Hey! I know, I know, it has been like, well, a really long time. And this is going to be a really short blog but here goes. I just found this really cool site for all of those Hunger Games junkies. It's thehoborg.blogspot.com. And right now, they are doing a cool giveaway for a stamped copy of Mockingjay. Go check it out and if you're lucky, you could win the book. Good luck, and "may the odds be ever in your favor."

Meet Natasha
Meet our new addition. She is such a sweet, gentle girl. She is Husky and German Shepard mix. We got her at the shelter through an owner release, if you can believe it. MUCH to our gain. We look forward to getting to know her. There are so many things we want to teach her and play with her. We already have BIG plans for her for the winter:) Mush, Tasha, Mush. . .

Scandanavian Days
Every year, over the Memorial Day weekend, our family heads down to Ephraim, Ut to the Scandanavian Days Festival. Geoff has played there with a blue grass band for over 12 years. It is now a family tradition. Great music, fun booths and the best Swedish meatballs in the world! Here is a photo of Geoff's main band, Lincoln Highway. We love, em:)
Love this video. You get to hear some of Geoff's music and see the girls dance. Can't get any better than that. Who is the cute bass player:)?

Fitness Revolution
Hey, my sister just launched her new website fitnessrevolutionaz.com. It is really worth checking out. She talks fitness, nutrition, workouts, Q&A and more. She is so good at what she does. If you are in the Mesa area, she has an awesome Boot Camp for way cheaper than anywhere else. I got her to do a Boot Camp with a few of my friends when she was last it town and it kicked my butt! Go check it out. Really, go right now:)

Jason is at bootcamp
My little brother, Jason, went to boot camp about two weeks ago. He just felt it was right for him and his family. I admire him and hope all goes well for him. He does admit that they shout is his face A LOT. After boot camp, he then goes to Arizona for some advanced training. In all, he'll be away from his family for about 7 months. Good luck, Jay. Love ya.
Arbor Day
We planted trees this weekend. Well, not on the actual Arbor Day which is April 30th. We are really trying to beautify our home. And to us, that means planting trees. If you jump on Arborday.org, they will send you 10 trees for $10. You type in your zip code and they will sell you trees that are best for you area. So sweet.

Dance Recitals
Well, another year, another great dance recital. Mandy and Lucy did such a great job. They were so darling and I cried through both of their dances. Not only did I cry because they did such a great job but I cried because they are so beautiful, and because I remember when they were first born, and because time goes by so fast and they are growing up, and because I wonder if I've been a good mother to them and. . . Anyway, you get the picture. I love them so much.
